I did have one about 2 years ago.....

but when we moved i didnt know where to put it so i gave it away…. I really miss it now :o( As i’d love to add some of the kids baby photos (pre digital camera’s) to my flickr album…. Then i’d be able to upload little jems like this….

My Front Garden 08/06/05

Ok, i know the grass needs cutting! lol

My climbing Roses that were planted about 18 months ago. I swear the reason they've done so well is all down to the little wooden box you can see there on the wall. It's a ladybird house (they hibernate in it) and you wouldnt beleive the amount of Ladybirds i've seen in the garden this year..... I bought another one last week to put in the back garden.

Wednesday 8th June

I signed up with www.flickr.com a couple of weeks ago but didnt put any pics up there....until today! Now i've got a couple of albums and cant wait to add some more.... I dunno, what with this Blog, 43things, BC and now Flickr i should be able to sort my life out lol

Been trying to think what photo i can post today (as i'm sooo excited i figured out how to do it! lol) so i think i might show you my front garden (as i'm really proud of my climbing roses). I'll stick that up later....

BB let me have a lay in this morning which was nice, hadnt long been up when the postman arrived with 2 books from the States which was nice (more to add to Mount Toobie!). I've been going through a dodgy patch with reading over the last 10 days, as in i've hardly done any.... I'm just not in the mood :o( Overkill perhaps????

I've spent most of the day doing absolutely nothing and sorting out pics on Flickr lol. Did take Tigzz out the garden a couple of times, but each time i did he headed straight for the Gazebo (as he knows if he climbs it, he can get to a really interesting wall and hence get out of the garden). I know he's gunna want to get out, but we live on quite a busy main road so i'm just really worried about him going round the front :o( We're detached so it would be easy for him to do...... The other thing is that once he goes over the wall the drop is more on the other side so chances are he wouldnt be able to get back..... I really need to take him out the garden one morning when i'll be in all day and can sort of supervise him if he does manage to get out.....

Tuesday 7th June

I had quite a busy day today! I went out shopping (for food) first then went to the local outlet shopping centre to see if i could get an outfit for my brothers wedding....and guess what???....I DID!!!! Its a beige 3 peice suite (long skirt, top and jacket) with beading on the collars of the jacket that matches the beading on the front of the top.... Quite posh looking it is too! So thats me and BB sorted, tigzz has a bridesmaids dress so now its just the boys i've gotta get sorted.....

It was a lovely day today so i managed to get loads of washing dry on the line and spent a couple of hours in the garden, reading and just sitting enjoying the peace!

I cooked a recipe today from Delia Smiths Soup Cookery Book, it was Goulash Soup With Dumplings. I did it in my slow cooker so the meat was nice and tender....it was really nice, although BB and DS2 insisted on adding Tabasco to spice it up a bit!!! Like a ton of Paprika wasnt enough????? lol

Managed to persuade DS2 to sort out his bedroom, and throw out loads of crap (mainly rubbish), gunna attempt to get DS1 to do the same tomorrow (that'll be a battle!)

Diet went ok today, although i did buy a bag of dried fruit (figs, pineapple,apricots) and i've eaten most of it! lol....Now, come on....it is healthy after all lol

I finished the book i was reading (The Service Of Clouds), but i wasnt that impressed with it. Dont get me wrong, it was a quality read, i just didnt gel with it :o( A shame, as i've really enjoyed the previous 2 Susan Hills that i've read....

I woke up again this morning at just gone 2...no nightmares this time....lets see what happens tonight....

I'm still off the Coke (still have a bottle in the fridge) so it's been water all day.

I'm gunna try and get an early night tonight, so im off.........

Monday 6th June

I found it really hard to get out of bed this morning :o( Probably due to the fact that i had a nightmare in the night which woke me up at 2.30am... It was about baby foxes, and was really sad and nasty..... I really needed some fresh air so i ended up hanging out of my bedroom window for half an hour lol I ended up in tears but couldnt tell you why. I was hot and bothered....... Managed to calm down after about an hour and got back to bed.....

I've had quite a busy day today.... Went shopping for dinner straight from the school run. The diet is back on starting today, but unfortunately BB didnt help by going down the shop this evening and buying lots of choc bars.... Oh and then there was the chocolate that arrived in the post from GlitterLover! lol

Electrician arrived at 9.30 and ended up getting an electric shock from a light. Tops up that my darling hubby has wired up all the lights in the house wrong and its now officially a death trap!!!! I had to lie to the elctrician and tell him that an electrical firm had done all my lights (he was sent by the people who built my house and i'd been doing my nut that all the elctrical problems were their fault!!!) He said if he was me he would report them to the governing body for electricians and get them struck off!!!! lol So now i've gotta get someone in to correct all of BB's mistakes lol

Flooring bloke turned up at 12.30....i've also got problems with my fllor and joists..... I'm now gunna have a battle on my hands as the problems with the floors are def the builders fault..... Think i'm in for a long ride getting them to admit that and pay for the work to be done (which includes 2 new floors!!!!!

I did mnage to sort out the huge pile of papers on my desk (and threw out a whole black bag full of rubbish) and also the boys bathroom (threw out empty shower gel bottles etc). There was a couple of things on my list that i was spose to do today that didnt get done, but i'll just flip them over til tomorrow..... I did manage to stay off the coke (even having a bottle in the fridge...hows that for will power?) and have had about 7 glasses of water! I took my vitamins and flossed!!!!

Not a bad day really i spose lol

Sunday 5th June

Woke up rather abruptly at 6.15 in a cold sweat! Wont disgust you with the events that followed, so lets just say im not feeling too well :o( I e mailed WistfulDragon about the picnic (i hope she gets it).

I've spent most of the day feeling sorry for myself, being decidedly ratty and feeling pretty crappy :o(
I've, sorry, we've, got a pretty heavy week coming up so i think it's stress rather than being ill.

Did manage to drag myself to the shops (but only as i had to as DS2 reminded me he had no school shoes for tomorrow)

I did some more washing, took a bag of old clothes to the recycling bin and made notes in my journal for all the things i've got to do tomorrow....

Managed to catch up on Eastenders as i hadnt seen it all week.....

Event of the day..... Both me and BB signed up for The Open University. I'm doing A103 and he's doing DD100. We start in October so thats something to look forward to i guess :o)

Saturday 4th June

Another early start on a Saturday morning :o( Was out of the house at 8.30 to go down to Bexhill for another (final) dress fitting for tigzz's bridesmaids dress. I did manage to release some books while i was there so i spose that was something (spesh as 1 was caught and journalled). BB came with us this time and insisted that we stop for food on the way home. Diet in non-existant at the moment :o(

BB went down to Argos and bought me a new portable TV with DVD player for the study. We spent the afternoon watching Wuthering Heights on DVD, the Timothy Dalton version......one of my fave all time films. Sooooo sad......

Cooked Spag Boll for dinner (had 2 extra mouths to feed) and watched TV all night along with trying to keep up with the mail on BCUK. Did manage to do some washing, but the house is still a tip, although we did manage to persuade the kids to tidy their rooms! Ive really gotta get tidying tomorrow as i've got an electrician coming on Monday to check the electrics.....

Did manage to read most of The Life Laundy book and bits of De-Junk Your life. Made some notes and will be trying to put them into practice next week.....

Im sittin here in bed at the moment on the lap top so i spose i better get some sleep. BCUK London picnic tomorrow so i better get some shut eye......
