Right!!!! I'm fed up with just slobbing around the house doing nothing.....
I signed up with Fly Lady yesterday, today I'm gunna dig out the book Sink Reflections along with my De Junk Your Life book and also The Life Audit. BB bought me a really nice journal for my Birfdee so I'll use that and hopefully spend the day organising organising (lol) my life!
I actually managed to do some washing today (WOW!!!!) and went shopping for stuff for dinner. Had planned to do Spaghetti Bolognese but it topped up being only me DS2 & BB for dinner so it wasn't really worth bothering :o( DS2 had Maccy D's as he had to go to the doctors to have his stitches out. They ended up putting the butterfly sticky stitches on after as they're a bit concerned that the wound might re-open if he bangs it. Me & BB went out for a meal at Bluewater...and very nice it was too although, not diet conscious at all!
I've spent the evening answering e mails and trying to go through my De-Junking books. I bought a diary in Bluewater to help me.
I did manage to put an item up for sale on eBay today (I'm on there under caffcaff) which is a set of books that Kleptokitty gave me. They're just too nice to wild release so we agreed that if I put them on eBay the proceeds will go (in donation form) to Book Crossing. I hope they sell and find a new home as they are gorgeous books.....
Booked my hotel room for the Book Crossing Unconvention on the 1st of July so I'm looking forward to that now.
I met up with a lady in Gillingham today to hand over my Kitty Igloo (she bought it from me on eBay) and managed to pop into my friends house (to drop off some milk) to see how her leg is. The swelling and redness has gone down a bit but it still looks horrendous!!!!
Its now 12.30 (so am on Saturday) so I better get off here now. Still waiting for DS1 to get home as he's roadying for a local band....... Got a busy day tomorrow
Thursday 2nd June
I managed to get a lay in this morning, til 9.15, but was woken up by tigzz telling me that a friend had called and could I call her back as she had a problem..... I dragged myself out of bed and managed to get a cup of tea before dashing out of the house at 9.45 to go to the Supermarket. I had another friend due round at 11 with her 2 girls so I really needed to get moving. I wouldn't mind, I didn't even pull a brush through my hair. I only got down the road when my mobile went and it was tigzz saying my friend had called again and that she needed something. Rather than phone (as she lives just round the corner) I decided to pop round there. I had intended to call her back when I got back from the shops..... She opened the door and I was like OMG!!!!!! She had a bite on her leg that was the size of a 50p, was bright yellow and oozing puss! She'd managed to get herself to the doctors the night before and he gave her a prescription, so I went down the chemist to get her the painkillers etc. When I got back to hers I made her a coffee and got her to take some tablets. She promised me faithfully that she was going to go to bed. In the mean time I've had to phone my other friend and cancel (I hope her kids weren't too upset) and finally got home at 11.30. I probably would have stayed with her longer, but tigzz decided that she was gunna go to the pictures with her friend......
I never did get to the supermarket LOL so me and the boys made do with what was in the fridge, not very diet conscious I must admit :o(
I felt a bit low today, and even resorted to going up the petrol station to buy a bottle of coke! I think I'm still recovering from the picnic! LOL I did resort to joining Fly Lady again www.flylady.net so I'm hoping to get a bit more motivated LOL. I spent most of the day wandering around looking at stuff I need to do but not actually doing anything LOL.
I did manage to release some books and also sort out a box for a bloke on Free Cycle London who is having a stall at Green Fest http://www.greenfest.org.uk/ on the 19th June. I'm not gunna be able to go to the event as I'll be in Sussex at my brothers wedding.....
I went to bed at 11pm but then spent the next hour going through my e mails on the laptop. Since buying it I'm finding I'm taking that to bed rather than a book! LOL
Wednesday 1st June
The KentBCUKers Picnic at Leeds Castle Kent.
We were up, packed lunch made and out of the house by 7.15 this morning! Had to go to Crystal Palace to pick up WistfulDragon and her 3 kids. I completely forgot it was school holidays so ended up being outside the station at 8.15 LOL..... Wistful's train was delayed so she arrived at 9.10, we still managed to get to the Castle at 10
Luckily everyone arrived on time (Star69,Loopy1 and her three boys,Lutrus and hubby and very gorgeous daughter, MantisMad and Acanthium32) so we went straight in.
I wont bore you with a whole run down of the day, but lets just say the kids had a great time running around releasing books, feeding the ducks and swans, going in and out of the maze and watching the Falconry display. The weather held up (there were only a couple of showers) and the picnic went down well with the kids....
We left at about 4.30 for the journey back to Crystal Palace. In the car we all noticed that we'd got sunburnt (even though it wasn't that sunny) and by the time i dropped Wistful off all the kids were shattered! Tigzz slept all the way home and i must admit, i was exhausted (all that walking round the grounds of the Castle).
Thanks to star69 and her chocolate Birthday Cake the diet went completely out the window!!!!!
I managed to stay awake long enough to watch the 3 episodes of Desperate Housewives that was on Channel 4 and when i finally got around to checking my e mail discovered that I'd got 2 catches from the books I'd released and both have now joined!!!!!
I fell in bed at midnight..........
Tuesday 31st May
I had a pretty crappy day today :o( Took tigzz to The Docklands to buy her a summer coat (and of course, i released 4 books!)
I spent most of the day organising the stuff to take to the picnic (books, food and more books).
Me and tigzz did manage to do some more planting in the garden.......
Roll on next week when the kids go back!!!!
Monday 30th May
BANK HOLIDAY!!!!!!
And what happens?......... it chucks it down! LOL Typical British weather! I went to the garden centre again today as I'm determined to get my garden looking half decent.... I bought a couple of Clematis, 2 Hebe's, some herbs and grass seed. I also bought a Mason Bee house. I've already got a lady bird house and I'm sure that's why there are loads of lady birds all over my garden......
Spent most of the day planting (when we weren't dashing indoors to get out of the rain) and now i am aching all over LOL.
Diet was a bit of a disaster again and i did have a glass of coke *slaps wrist*
Managed to release some more books and get all the ones that Molyneux gave me on Saturday sorted, apart from the ones that tigzz has pinched which I've now gotta go and hunt down in her bedroom, sorry, pig sty! LOL
Finally managed to sort out the problems with my PC but my mobile is still playing up :o(
DS2's stitches are healing well, the bandage is off now so I've gotta make an appointment for him to go back and have them taken out (that'll be fun!)
Spose i really should go to bed now LOL
Sunday 29th May
Today was quite a productive day (for a change! LOL). I went to the garden centre and e and BigBoss spent most of the day planting. I did go over to Lakeside (Thurrock) to try to sort my mobile out but they couldn't do it :o( I've been having problems with picture messaging since the day i had it (10 months ago). They keep sending me the settings but it still don't work. The mobile phone shop made a few adjustments and now I've gotta wait 24 hours for it to take effect!!!!! I did go in the pet shop and buy Tigzz his first collar...a fake Burberry one LOL
The diet has been appalling this weekend :o( Having BB at home doesn't help LOL, and i was very naughty and had 2 glasses of coke!!!!
I released my irst notes on www.doshtracker.com today, so i'm hoping i'll hear from them at some stage.......
I released a few books, but no journal entries.....I've got so use to getting one each time i release a batch that when i don't, i get really disappointed LOL
