Monday 16th May

Well, the builders arrived bright and breezy..... Too bright & breezy for my liking, but still, I guess it's not their house they're recking is it! lol The prospect of spending the whole day shut in the kitchen with the dogs and cats was getting me down, until I came up with the brain wave!!!! Asking DS1 if I could borrow his laptop for the day!!!! So my panic attack subsided when I got it up and running on the kitchen table. Wasn't too bad a day, BigBoss came home at lunchtime to relieve my boredom (and make me lunch) and the builders packed up at 3.15. The whole house is covered in dust, but at least its getting done.

I met up with jacinta2000 or should that be jacinta_in _Kent (she's recently changed her BC name) in Tonbridge at 4.30 for a spot of grub and a drink in the local pub. Released 4 books while I was there and picked up a couple of books from her. One of which is the ring "Simplify Your Life" so I'm looking forward to getting started on that! Jacinta tried to approach the Manager of the Humphrey Bean about having an OBCZ there. We decided (when the Manager seemed to develop the persona of the Invisible Man) that she would go back again another day armed with lots of info for him to look at, rather than take our word for it if he'd never heard of Book Crossing.

I got home about 8, but on the way I started to feel a bit ill. By the time I got home I was sneezing like a goodun. I've now got a sore throat, runny nose and itchy eyes. All I can think it can be is that the builders had the front door open all day today and it wasn't exactly warm now was it :o( I've dosed meself up as there is no way I wanna miss the BOSH bash tomorrow night (haven't had a chance to wear my T Shirt there yet) so I'm hoping that when I get up tomorrow I'll feel a bit better. Gunna sit down now and start this book, just hope it works as I need "simplifying" ;o)
